Huanhua Brocade:
One variety of Shu brocade was designed by the working people of the Song Dynasty, inspired by the ripples created by falling flowers and flowing water.
Scattered Flower Brocade:
One variety of Shu brocade, also known as “Za Hua” or “Man Hua Jin.” This type of brocade is adorned with a dense array of single- or multi-colored patterns. Commonly used motifs include auspicious grasses with cranes in the clouds, peonies symbolizing good fortune, geese in the clouds, hundreds of birds paying homage to the phoenix, chrysanthemums resembling dragon claws, and many others.
Rain Silk Brocade:
One variety of Shu brocade features a patterned surface composed of warp threads in white and other colors. The colored warp threads gradually transition from thick to thin, while the white warp threads progressively become thicker. This seamless transition creates alternating bands of white and color, producing vividly contrasting hues that resemble delicate raindrops. These raindrop-like patterns are further adorned with a variety of intricate floral and geometric motifs, lending the fabric a light, airy, and comforting rhythmic quality.
Zhijin Brocade:
Zhijin Jin is a transliteration of the Persian word “Nasich.” It is a type of brocade woven with gold threads—either made from gold thread or gold foil—used as weft threads. In ancient China, the practice of incorporating gold into silk textiles began as early as the Warring States and Sixteen Kingdoms period, during which time Zhijin Jin could already be produced.
Floating Light Brocade:
An ancient brocade name.
Silk satin:
This raw satin fabric features a plain warp and weft weave, with the finished product containing 75% rayon. After mercerization, it can be dyed and printed, producing vivid colors. The satin surface is smooth and mirror-like, while the reverse side has a fine twill texture.
Brocade:
Brocade is a traditional Chinese silk textile characterized by weft patterns featuring three or more colors woven onto a satin-faced warp. Developed at the end of the 19th century on the basis of Jiangnan brocade weaving in China, brocade boasts a bright and delicate surface, a rich and luxurious hand feel, and vivid, pleasing colors.
Antique brocade:
Gu Xiang Duan is a traditional Chinese silk fabric, renowned alongside brocade satin. Its patterns primarily feature pavilions, terraces, towers, elegant chambers, insects, fish, flowers, birds, and narrative scenes of human figures, characterized by a simple and unadorned color palette.

Recently, the fabric market at China Light & Textile City has seen insufficient demand from both northern and southern buyers. Transactions involving polyester-cotton blended fabrics have declined, leading to an overall contraction in market activity. However, orders for spring fabrics remain relatively robust in certain segments. Some textile companies operating on a “store-front factory” model, as well as marketing departments of large-scale manufacturers and sizable retail outlets, continue to enjoy strong sales of finished polyester-cotton blended fabrics. Specifically, certain segments of spring fabric orders are still receiving substantial bulk orders, and overseas orders for spring fabrics remain fairly active in localized areas.
